————————————————————

This is the last book in one of my favorite series, and that’s okay with me.

This series started out amazing.  I absolutely LOVED the first three books.  But then things, well, they were still pretty great, but it just wasn’t the same.  You know how the excitement of first love fades?  Well, I felt something like that.

So the fact that this was the last book in the series is okay with me.  I think it’s time.  Now, don’t get me wrong, this was still a great book.  I’m just glad that Ms. Frost is ending on a great note.  So basically, if you’re already reading this series, definitely read this and finish the series!

And if you haven’t read this series yet, give the first one a try, it’s so fangtastic.  😉

My Rating:  4 Stars

  1. I agree. I haven’t read this one yet, but thing have not been great since the beginning of this series with 1-4 and when she took a short break from NH things just fell apart in my opinion. I thought it was a good decision to end the series b/c it was feeling like filler books to me. But absolutely will always love this series. This was my introduction into the UF genre. =)))

    • Filler books, exactly! Cat and Bones are great characters, and Frost is a great writer, but it was definitely starting to get repetitive with the story lines. Thanks for coming by! 🙂

  2. you’re right it’s funny to see we have posted our reviews at the same time. Like you I think the first books were awesome but it changed and I was so anxious to see it would be the same but in fact it was a good one so I’m happy.

  3. I’ve read a few of Frost’s books from other series, but I’ve been reticent to start on this one, even though it has gotten rave reviews all over the place. It’s hard to want to start a series that has a bajillion books, you know? Is it possible to read just the first three or four?

    • So, they all end up blending together, you know? lol. BUT, I do remember the first 3-4 being exceptional, and I don’t believe the 3rd or 4th end on a cliffhanger (not positive though). I would definitely try this series; I actually like it more than Frost’s other books. Thanks for coming by Kelly! 🙂

      • 🙂 I’ll check ’em out. I just missed a random one-day sale a couple weeks back, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed that they go on sale again soonish. Or maybe I’ll actually join my local library…

  4. Wow! I am definitely giving this series a try. This is the second glowing review I’ve read in just a matter of hours. The first one I’ve read last night. And that is saying something because it’s not everyday I come across Jeanine Frost reviews. I really have my own world, haven’t I? But yeah, some bloggy friends who are into paranormal stuff are always talking about Jeanine Frost.

Okay, SOLD! Congrats for completing the series, Pam. A seven book installment is no mean feat. 😀
