Book Review: Soul of the Storm by Jean M. Grant

It’s been five years since the death of her sister, and Charlotte is going with her friend and her friend’s husband on a vacation in Vermont. Despite her friends efforts, Charlotte is still deep in her grief. However, on vacation she meets the man of many jobs, Matiu, and he seems to awaken something in Charlotte. With his help, she slowly begins to start enjoying life again.

This was a quick read, and never had a dull moment. I really felt for Charlotte and the loss of her sister. I appreciated her friend Veronica, and how she tried her best to include Charlotte. Matiu, who is from New Zealand and only working in Vermont temporarily, has his own issues, but when he meets Charlotte, he knows she is special.

A quick read with great characters.
