What have YOU been reading lately?

Wow, so it’s been a while. A long, long, long while. Is anyone still here???

I want to know, what books have YOU read lately that you can’t stop thinking about? Give me all the recommendations, please! I’ve read a lot of good books lately, but I want to read one that you can’t stop thinking about, you know? So let me know the best books you’ve read, lately, or even from a long time ago, it doesn’t matter.

The Problem With Food Allergies

The problem with food allergies.

I know, this is a book blog, but something you probably don’t know about me, is that we have many food allergies in my family. My eight year old son is highly allergic to milk and egg, and has an FPIES reaction to haddock. Continue reading

Whatcha reading now?

This is just a random post to let you all know I’m still around. Kind of busy these days with all the kids.

Anyways, seeing how much I love Game of Thrones on HBO, I decided to read the book, but I couldn’t get into it. I might try again, or maybe not, because I enjoy the show so much that I don’t want to ruin it. (I was so surprised at the red wedding episode!!)

So then I tried Lord’s Fall by Thea Harrison (I enjoy her books), but it just wasn’t doing it for me either.

It might just be my frame of mind lately, or how busy and exhausted I am.

I am reading and enjoying First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones. I’m not reading it as fast as I normally would because for some reason it won’t open on my nook, only on my laptop, and laptops are no fun to read on.

Are there any amazing new books out there that I’ve been too busy to notice? lol.

Also, my favorite book, Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, is being made into a series on Starz! Yay!

Goodnight! 🙂

In excitement for Iced

Image from Goodreads

In anticipation of Iced by Karen Marie Moning, coming out on October 30th, I’ve decided to reread the fever series.  I LOVE this series.  It’s one of my top two favorites.   Of course, I’ve already read the books multiple times before each new book was released, so I tend to skim to my favorite parts.  But I don’t think that’s cheating.  🙂  Right?

Is there a series that you absolutely love, and enjoy reading the previous books from when a new one comes out?

Happy October people!
