Book Review: Cole by Christine Donovan

Cole Jackson is a rock star who went to prison for a murder he didn’t commit. Reading books by author Shannon Gallagher got him through his days. Cole and Shannon meet and their story begins.

I really enjoyed this book! I visualized what was going on immediately and got lost in the story. I appreciated how this was a love story with characters in their 30’s too! What made it really enjoyable was the many conflicts taking place throughout the book at once. (If everything was smooth sailing what a boring book it would be.) Donovan knows how to keep you engaged until the very last page.

If you’re looking for a contemporary romance book to read, pick up Cole by Christine Donovan today! (It’s book 1 in A Standish Bay Romance series).

Book Review: Jinxed by Torri Heat

Hooked me from page 1!

What happens when you step foot in your brand new home only to find out you can never, EVER. leave? That’s what happens to Savannah Miles in Jinxed.

I honestly think this would be a really cool Netflix series. It’s such a unique idea and kept me intrigued.

If you’re looking for something new that’s super super steamy, give Jinxed a try. Can’t wait to read some more by Torri Heat.

Book Review: Daisy and the Missing Mona Lisa by J.T. Allen

Can Daisy solve the puzzle of the Missing Mona Lisa?

Twelve year old Daisy is in Paris, living with her Aunt Mill. She spends some time with Felix helping him clean out a collection of items he has, and one of those items happens to be a replica of the Mona Lisa…or is it? Lol, I don’t want to give too much away, since this is a mystery and all. Reading Daisy and the Missing Mona Lisa reminded me of my youth and reading a Nancy Drew book! I enjoyed accompanying Daisy in her newest adventure with friends by her side. I appreciate how self sufficient Daisy is, traveling Paris by herself, taking the metro, and even getting dinner on her own. If you haven’t read the books yet, this can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the full series but a better comprehension of the book. All in all, a great read!

I received a free copy of this book from the author. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

It just so happens as luck would have it, that I have a Mona Lisa replica myself, painted by my grandmother-in-law. 🙂
