Goldryn Bois. Small town, Louisiana.

No prospects. No education. No boyfriend. No nothing.

it’s her last hurrah before she takes all her savings and runs.

They were strangers.
But everyone knew Elliot Gold.
Stoic. Serious. The Iceman.

Heart of Gold is a slow burn, small-town romance and Michaela Haze’s first contemporary romance novel.

I thought this was a great contemporary romance. At first look, I wasn’t going to read it. The cover just doesn’t do it for me. But I’m glad I read the blurb and gave it a chance because I really enjoyed it!

I thought the characters were great, and the book was really well done. It was so easy to turn on my Kindle and just get lost in the story.

And just as you think you know the story, more comes into play. It was so much more than your ordinary contemporary romance.

Very well done Ms. Haze!
